Once upon a time, there was woman named Upparadevi who was sexual desire. She travelled to look for men to be her husbands. She had a total of 76 husbands and seven children namely Thao Athit (Sun), Nang Chan (Monday), Thao Angkhan (Tuesday), Thao Phut (Wednesday), Thao Phahat (Thursday) and Thao Suk (Friday) respectively. Colophon: Folio 9 on the recto side: Sangkatrasa on hundred and 4 (corresponding with CS 1104), a tao set year, on the full moon day of the twelfth lunar month, a kat nyi day, the fifth day of the week (Thursday), the writing was accomplished at time of kòng laeng (between 13.30–15.00 o’clock). Novice Ra had the religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled Sadok ninyai pha athit (the story of the Sun) to dedicate to his mother who passed away to the other world.
