The content tells the legend of two Buddhas including Gotama Buddha and Ariya Metteyya Buddha, and the predictions on eight disasters that will happen to human beings in the future. Except, ones who do giving, observing precepts, meditating, and belief in the Triple Gem, will be escape from all the dangers. Phutthabuarabat Sangkatrasa 2 hundred 304 (corresponding with CS 1234), a tao san year, a huang pao day, the second day of the waning moon of the nine lunar month, the fifth day of the week (Thursday), [the writing was accomplished] at the time of tut tang (between 6.00–7.30 o’clock). Pha Khanan Mathinya Pannya had the religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript [entitled] Tamnan phachao thang 2 phaong, to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until attaining Nibbāna. Amen, amen. On the one hand, may I the scribe be successful of my wishes. On the other hand, may my parents, sisters, brothers, children and grandchildren be safe from dangers. On the other hand, may we all escape from the five kinds of sin. On the other hand, may we meet Pha Ariya Mettey Buddha. Amen, amen. On the other hand, we are parents, younger sisters, older sisters, wife, children and grandchildren, may our wishes and desires come true.
