Vama Danta Dhatu means the left tooth tells King Guhasivaya installed the Buddha’s tooth relic in a pagoda in Patariputta kingdom. Later King Pandu ruled the kingdom and saw that the worship to the tooth relic was useless due to he believed in other religion. The king ordered nude ascetics to burn the relic. But when the nude ascetics were burning the relic, the relic was not burned and intact. The people who saw that they were more faithful in the relic and worshiped it with offerings.
