The life span of the devas and Indra in the heaven of Tavatimsa is for 1,000 years of heaven which equals to 3 goti and 6 million years of the human world. The lasting tells Indra asked questions with the Buddha. For examples, Indra asked, “Do devas, human beings, asuras, nagas, gandhabbas nevertheless live in hostility, violence, rivalry, ill will, with those who are hostile?” The Buddha replied: “Devas, human beings, asuras, nagas, gandhabbas are fettered with envy and stinginess.
