The text in this manuscript tells that this story was copied from Bejing, the Namhai mount where the Venerable Kassapa passed away. There is mountain called Namhai is between the cities of Bejing and Sunthienhu. Once a miracle happening on the third day of the waxing moon of the third lunar month in a Mamia year (the Year of Horse). A heavy storm blew a stone from the mountain to the village of Sae Haeng, Lok Iangkui district the city of Saibenghu. Later the stone was discovered by people in the forest with the inscription on it. When Mayor Sae Tiao and Governor Sae Li knew, they came to see. After seeing, they both were faithful in the stone and made a copy of the inscription to report a minister. But the minister did not believe and accused the two were mad. Three days later the minister along with his children and wife died without cuase. Colophon: Folio 15 on the verso side: Chunlasangkat 1941, a huang sai year, Sunday, the writing was accomplished at the midday. Sao Pheng from Ban Pakham village sponsored the making of this manuscript entitled Sasanachin tamla hin taek (Chinese religion, the story of a broken stone), for people to read the text. May I reach the three states of happiness and attain Nibbāna finally. May my wishes not be ignored. Nibbāna is the greatest bliss.
