ສັງຄະຫະ ຫຼື ອະພິທໍາມັດຖະສັງຄະຫະ ເນື້ອໃນຂຽນເປັນພາສາບາລີ ເປັນຄໍາພີອັດຖະກະຖາພະອະພິທໍາ ໂດຍພະອະນຸຣຸດທາຈານຊາວອິນເດຍທີ່ໄປສຶກສາພະອະພິທໍາທີ່ປະເທດສີລັງກາ ແຕ່ງຂຶ້ນໃນປີ ພສ. ໙໐໐ (ຄສ. ໓໕໗) ໂດຍໄດ້ປະມວນເນື້ອໃນຈາກພະອະພິທໍາທີ່ພະສໍາມາສໍາພຸດທະເຈົ້າຊົງສະແດງໄວ້ທັງ ໗ ຄໍາພີເຂົ້າໄວ້ໂດຍຫຍໍ້ ເພື່ອໃຫ້ງ່າຍແລະສະດວກແກ່ການສຶກສາແລະຈົດຈໍາ. ດັ່ງນັ້ນ ພະອະພິທໍາມັດຖະສັງຄະຫະ ຈຶ່ງໝາຍເຖິງ ຄໍາພີເຊິ່ງລວບລວມເນື້ອຄວາມຂອງພະອະພິທໍາທັງ ໗ ຄໍາພີ ໄວ້ໂດຍຫຍໍ້ ແບ່ງເປັນ ໙ ຕອນ. ເມື່ອຫຍໍ້ພະອະພິທໍາ ທັງ ໗ ຄໍາພີ ໃຫ້ສັ້ນທີ່ສຸດແລ້ວ ກໍ່ໄດ້ແກ່ ຈິດ, ເຈຕະສິກ, ຮູບ, ນິບພານ ແລະບັນຍັດ.
Sangaha or Abhidhammattha-sangaha with the whole text written in Pali is the scripture of the commentary of the Abhadhamma, composed by Indian Anuruddha Thera who studied the Abhidhamma in Sri Lanka in BE 900 (AD 357). It has compiled all the texts from the Abhidhamma that the Buddha had preached all 7 scriptures in brief in order to be easy, convenient for the study and remember. Therefore, Abhidhammattha-sangaha that means the scripture containing the texts of the seven books of Abhidhamma in brief and divided into nine chapters. When the seven scriptures of the Abhidhamma have been shortened to the shortes, they are conciousness, mental factors, corpority, nibbana and commandment.
