The text tells about the chronicle of Phanom stupa. After having meal which offered by the people of Marukkhanakhon, the Buddha gave spoke to Anandha Thera and made a prediction. Anandha! After eight years and eight montha of the passing away of the Buddha, there will have a disciple of the Buddha named Maha Kassapa Thera who will bring 24 pieces of my chest relics to establish at this Phukampha Mountain as a worship for human beings and devas. Later, Veneravle Maha Kassapa Thera was accompanied with other 500 arahats brought the relics to the Phukampha Mountain. The construction of a stupa called Phra That Phanom for installing the relics was supported by the five kings from the five kingdoms in this region. Colophon: Folio 12 on the recto side: In Chunlasangkat (CS) 1288, a hwai nyi year, on the tenth day of the waxing moon of the second lunar month, the fourth day of the week (Wednesday), the writingwas accomplished at the time of kòng ngai (between 7.30–9.00 o’clock). Lung Thit Suk and his wife, Sao Chanthi had the ardent religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript [entitled] Tamnan Phün Nithan Thattu Phanom to support the Teachings of Gotama Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May the results of this merit be a condition to support us every existence. On the other hand, may all our wishes and desires not be come true. Nibbāna paccayo hontu no niccaṃ dhuvaṃ paramaṃ sukhaṃ (May this be a condition for us to reach Nibbāna constantly and certainly, the greatest bliss).
