ເນື້ອໃນທັງໝົດເປັນບົດພາສາບາລີ ກ່າວເຖິງ ວິສຸດທິມັກ ຊຶ່ງແປວ່າ ຫົນທາງແຫ່ງຄວາມບໍລິສຸດ ຫຼື ທາງແຫ່ງພະນິບພານ ເປັນຄໍາພີສໍາຄັນຄໍາພີໜຶ່ງໃນພຸດທະສາສະໜາເຖລະວາດ ໂດຍແມ່ນພະພຸດທະໂຄສະ ຊາວອິນເດຍເປັນຜູ້ຮຽບຮຽງຂຶ້ນເປັນພາສາບາລີໃນປະເທດສີລັງກາ ເມື່ອປະມານສະຕະວັດທີ ໕ ມີເນື້ອໃນອະທິບາຍກ່ຽວກັບ ສີນ, ສະມາທິ ແລະປັນຍາ ຕາມແນວວິສຸດທິ ໗.

The whole text was written in Pali is of the Visuddhimagga which means the Path of Purification) or the path to Nibbāna, is one of the most important scriptures in Theravada written in Pali by Indian Buddhaghosa approximately in the 5th century in Sri Lanka. The content explains about sila, samadhi and panna according to the principles of seven purities.
