Once upon a time, King Yassakitti, the great ruled the kingdom of Champa. He had sixteen thousand concubines headed by Sirimattirajadevi. But all of those women had no children to inherit the throne, so the king asked them to pray for a wonderful son. Queen Sirimattirajadevi then led the women to observe the eight precepts and prayed to the gods for a child by asking for a wonderful son. One night, while she was sleeping, she had a dream that a certain hermit brought her a gem. When the morning dawned, she told the king that dream. Thus, the king asked his advicors, Brahmins to prophesy the dream. The dream means that the Queen was about to have a child, the Bodhisattva will come in her womb.
