The content tells about the first Sangayana (Buddhist Council). Venerable Mahakassapa Thera asked Venerable Ubali Thera in the middle of all the monks about the 227 precepts of bhikkhus that the Buddha had prescribed each of the precept for what reason at which place and which monk who had committed the first offense that caused the Buddha to prescribe the precept. Later, Venerable Mahakassapa Thera asked Venerable Ananda Thera about the Buddha preached the sermons on the Brahmasara Sutta and the seven scriptures of Abhidhamma, in which place and for what reason and to whom specifically.
