On one occasion, the Buddha was residing at the Jetavana monastery in Savatthi spoke to his disciples about a youngman named Tikkha. In Savatthi, a late rich man was reborn as a poor man named Tikkha. One day, it was the uposatha day, the people brought various objects to the temple to worship the TripleGem. Some carried glass flags, some carried silver flags, some carried gold flags, and some carried flags made of gold plates and some carried flags made of flowers. When Tikkha saw that, he became devout and thought to make a flag for him. So, he brought a piece of iron to the craftsman to make it into an iron flag and decorated it. He then brought the flag to the temple and worshiped the Triple Gem. With this practice, after death, he was reborn as the king of devas with heavenly treasures.
