The text tells the importance of the three doctrines and the three robes. The three doctrines consist of Vinaya Pitaka, Abhidhamma Pitaka and Suttanta Pitaka which are called Tipitaka. The three robes consist of pha chivòn (the under robe), pha sanghati (the outer robe), and pha sabong (the inner robe), which are called Ticīvara. The three robes are important for monks. Without the three robes, a man is not able to ordain as a monk. The Teachings of the Buddha consist of three called Tipitaka. Without the Tipitaka, there would not have Buddhism. Pha chivòn is comparable as the Vinaya Pitaka, pha sangkhati is comparable as the Abhidhamma Pitaka, and pha sabong is comparable as the Suttanta Pitaka. Colophon: Folio 25 on the recto side: Sangkatrasa (CS) 1290, a moeng mao year, the first day of the waxing moon of the third lunar month, the first day of the week (Sunday), the writing was accomplished at the time of kòng laeng (between 13.30-15.00 o’clock). May our wishes come true. Nibbāna is the greatest bliss.
