Vinaya text. The text tells in breif about the practical method of Pasivāsa, Mānatta, and Abbhāna of monks. Parivāsa (probation) means to be under interdiction for a monk who broke any of Sanghadisesa and concealed the offence. He has to be practiced the probation for a number of days as he concealed the offence as self-punishment. Mānatta 'penance' is Buddhist ritual that the Sangha performs to a monk who has committed the offence of Sanghadisesa to be a monk who can be counted among the Sangha. The recitation of this proclamation is called Sūtmānat. Abbhāna means retraction means receiving the monk who has committed the Sanghadisesa and was punished in seclusion and then returns to be innocent. The recitation of this proclamation is called Sūtabbhān. Colophon: Folio 32 on the recto side: In Chunlasakkarat (CS) 1277, a [hap] mao year, on the ninth day of the waning moon of the eighth lunar month, the fifth day of the week (Thursday). The writing of this manuscript was finished at the time of the kòng ngai (between 7.30 – 9.00 o’clock). Phikkhu Inthapannya from Vat Nòng Sakaeo, who was born at Ban Pakham village, sponsored the making of this manuscript entitled Vinai Kam to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years.
