ສັດທໍາໂມປາຍະນະ ແປວ່າ ການຖວາຍພະທໍາອັນແທ້ຈິງ. ເນື້ອຫາເປັນບົດກອນຄໍາສອນ ເຕືອນສະຕິໃຫ້ຫຼີກເວັ້ນຈາກການກະທໍາຊົ່ວ ຕັ້ງຕົນຢູ່ໃນຄວາມດີ ແລະບໍາເພັນບຸນກຸສົນໃຫ້ຫຼາຍຂຶ້ນເລື້ອຍໆ. ນອກຈາກນັ້ນ ຍັງອະທິບາຍເຖິງ ການເກີດຂອງຄົນໃນໂລກນີ້ ມະນຸດແຕ່ລະຄົນລ້ວນແຕ່ເຄີຍຜ່ານການເກີດໃນພົບພູມຕ່າງໆ ມາກ່ອນເຊັ່ນ ນະຮົກ, ເຜດ, ສັດເດຍລະສານ, ມະນຸດ ຫຼື ບາງຄົນກໍ່ອາດໄດ້ເກີດໃນເທວະໂລກ. ການເກີດໃນມະນຸດສະໂລກຖືວ່າ ເປັນການເກີດໃນພົບພູມທີ່ປະເສີດທີ່ສຸດ. Saddhammopayana: The gift-offering of the true Dhamma. The text is a didactic poem to exhort on abstaining from doing all evils, but cultivating good and striving more meritorious. Moreover, it relates about the births of human beings in this world. Everyone has ever been born in various worlds such as hells, realm of hungry ghosts, animals, human world or even heavenly worlds. To be born as a human being is regarded to be born in the best world. Colophons: (1) Folio 28 on the recto and verso sides and (2) Folio 29 on the recto and verso sides, (the same text): Chunlasangkat 1259, a moeng hao year, the fifth day of the waxing moon of the fifth lunar month, the first day of the week (Sunday), and a kat pao day. The writing was accomplished at the time of the kòng ngai (between 7.30–9.00 o’clock). Somdet phachao bòrommachakkaphatti sisuriyavong (the royal king) who freely lived Sisattanakhanahut uttama rattanaburirom phommachakkaphatti si lanxang hom khao is the initiator along with his wife, sons, grandchildren and relatives had pleasure in mind, and faith in the Teachings of the Buddha, high kindness and the religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript of the texts to be studied, entitled Satthammopanyama in order to dedicate his son named Chantharangsi who died. When he was close to die, his mind might set in a bad mood and went to the four unhappy planes and later born as a hungry ghost or a ghost stuck in somewhere. May the results of this merit to support him and move him to a good place. Even if he is already in a good place, may he have more divine properties than ever by hundred times and thousand times. May this come true. Amen, amen! May the alms that I have already given be a condition for us to reach Nibbāna constantly and certainly, the greatest bliss.
