ເນື້ອໃນກ່າວເຖິງ ຍັກຕົນໜຶ່ງທີ່ມີຍົດສັກແລະບໍລິວານໄດ້ ໑ ພັນ ຍັກນັ້ນມັກຂຶ້ນໄປອຸປະຖໍາເຝົ້າພະຍາເວດສຸວັນທີ່ສະຫວັນຊັ້ນຈາຕູມມະຫາຣາຊິກາຢູ່ເນື່ອງໆ. ພະຍາເວດສຸວັນເປັນຫົວໜ້າຂອງທ້າວຈະຕຸໂລກະບານທັງສີ່, ເປັນຜູ້ປົກຄອງທິດເໜືອແລະເປັນພະຍາຂອງພວກຍັກ ຈຶ່ງຖາມເຫດຜົນທີ່ຍັກນັ້ນມາເຝົ້າເນື່ອງໆ. ຍັກນັ້ນ ຈຶ່ງຕອບວ່າ ຢາກມີທີ່ຢູ່ອາໄສໃນຊຸມພູທະວີບ. ພະຍາເວດສຸວັນຈຶ່ງໃຫ້ບັນຫາ ໑໐ ຂໍ້ໃຫ້ຍັກເອົາໄປຖາມຄົນ. ຖ້າຜູ້ໃດຕອບບໍ່ໄດ້ ກໍ່ໃຫ້ກິນເປັນອາຫານ. ຖ້າຜູ້ໃດຕອບໄດ້ ໃຫ້ມອບເຂົ້າຂອງເງິນຄໍາແລເສື້ອຜ້າອາພອນເທີ້ນ. ເມື່ອຍັກນັ້ນລົງມາຖາມບັນຫານັ້ນແກ່ມະນຸດ ກໍບໍ່ມີໃຜແກ້ບັນຫາເຫຼົ່ານັ້ນໄດ້ ຄົນທັງຫຼາຍກໍ່ກາຍເປັນອາຫານຂອງຍັກນັ້ນ. ຄໍາລົງທ້າຍ: ລານທີ່ ໑໖ ໜ້າ ໑: ຈຸນລະສັງກາດຣາຊະໄດ້ ໑໒ ຮ້ອຍ ໕໗ (ກົງກັບ ຈສ. ໑໒໕໗ ຮັບມົດ) ຕົວປີກາບສະງ້າ ເດືອນ ໕ ຂື້ນຄໍ່າ ໑ ມື້ຮ້ວງເຮົ້າ ວັນ ໔ ໝາຍມີ ເຈົ້າໝ່ອມພໍ່ ມີໃຈໃສສັດທາສ້າງ ປັນຍາປາຣະມີແກ້ວ ໄວ້ກັບສາສະໜາພະໂຄຕະມະເຈົ້າ ຕາບຕໍ່ເທົ້າເຂົ້າສູ່ພະນີພານນີ້ແດ່ກໍຂ້າເທີ້ນ. ຂໍໃຫ້ກຸສະລະບຸນອັນນີ້ໄປຄໍ້າຊູຜູ້ຈຸດຕິຕາຍໄປນັ້ນແດ່ກໍຂ້າເທີ້ນ. ນິບພານັງ ປະຣະມັງ ສຸກຂັງ ທຸວັງ ທຸວັງ ນິດຈັງ ນິດຈັງ.
The story pertains to a Yak (giant) who had high rank and one thousand followers. He often ascendeded to present Vessuvan in Chatumaharajika heaven. Vessuvan or Vaisravana was the chief of the four heavenly kings guarding the four directions on Earth. He was also the king of Yaksas and the protector of the north. King Vessuvan asked the giant the reason why he often visited him. The giant replied that he desired a residence in the human world. The king thus gave him ten puzzles. The giant had to ask any human whom he met to figure out the answers. If somebody could answer the questions correctly, the giant had to give silver, gold, and cloth to that person. If not, the giant could feed on them. Then, the giant descended to the world and asked the puzzles to people. Nobody could answer them correctly, so they all became the giant’s food. Colophon: Folio 16 on the recto side: Chunlasangkatrasa 12 hundred 57 (corresponding with CS 1257, a hap mot year), a kap sanga year, the first day of the waxing moon of the fifth lunar month, a huang hao day, the fourth day of the week (Wednesday). Chao Mòm Phò had the religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript [entitled] Pannya parami keo, to support the Teachings of Gotama Buddha to last until entering Nibbāna. May the results of this merit support all the deceased ones. Nibbāna is the greatest bliss certainly and constantly.
