ນິບພານະສູດ (ຜູກ ໔)

ກ່າວເຖິງຕອນພະມະຫາກັດສະປະແລະພະເຈົ້າອະຊາດສັດຕູໄດ້ສ້າງພະບໍລົມສາຣີຣິກະທາດຮ່ວມກັນ. ຫຼັງຈາກທີ່ພະພຸດທະເຈົ້າຊົງສະເດັດດັບຂັນປະຣິນິບພານ ກໍ່ໄດ້ແບ່ງພະອັດຖິອອກເປັນ ໘ ສ່ວນ ໃຫ້ແກ່ພະຍາຕາມຫົວເມືອງຕ່າງໆໃຫ້ອັນເຊີນກັບໄປປະດິດສະຖານໄວ້ໃນເຈດີທີ່ເມືອງຂອງຕົນ. ພະມະຫາກັດສະປະເຫັນວ່າໃນອະນາຄົດ ຄົນຈະບໍ່ເອົາໃຈໃສ່ສັກກາລະບູຊາ ເປັນເຫດໃຫ້ພະບໍລົມສາຣີຣິກະທາດຫາຍໄປ ບໍ່ປາກົດໃຫ້ຄົນເຫັນ ແລະຈະທໍາໃຫ້ຊາວໂລກບໍ່ໄດ້ຮັບປະໂຫຍດເກື້ອກູນ ພະມະຫາກັດສະປະ ຈຶ່ງໄດ້ຖວາຍຄໍາແນະນໍາແດ່ພະເຈົ້າອະຊາດສັດຕູໃຫ້ປະກອບພິທີການຝັງພະທາດ ໃນຄັ້ງນັ້ນພະເຈົ້າອະຊາດສັດຕູຊົງມີພະບັນຊາໃຫ້ຂຸດຫລຸມເລິກ ໘໐ ສອກ ດ້ານທິດຕາເວັນອອກສ່ຽງໃຕ້ຂອງກຸງຣາຊະຄຶ ຈາກນັ້ນຈຶ່ງທໍາພິທີບັນຈຸພະບໍລົມສາຣີຣິກະທາດ. ຄໍາລົງທ້າຍ: ລານທີ ໓໑ ໜ້າ ໑: ຈຸນລະສັງກາດໄດ້ ໑໒໘໖ ຕົວ ປີກາບສີ ເດືອນ ຈຽງ ຂຶ້ນ ໓ ຄໍ່າ ວັນ ໗ ມື້ກາເຮົ້າ ຍາມແຖ່ໃກ້ທ່ຽວວັນ ພະຄໍາພິນ ອຸປາສົກແສນຈັນມຸງຄຸນ ບຸດຕະ ພະຣິຍາກັບທັງແມ່ຕຶ ຜົວເມຍ ຝູງຂ້າທັງຫລາຍພ້ອມກັນສ້າງ ນິບພານະສູດ ໄວ້ກັບສາສະໜາພະເຈົ້າ ໕ ພັນວັດສາ ນິບພານະ ປັດຈະໂຍ ໂຫຕຸ.

The content tells Phra Mahakassapa Thera and King Ajatashatru created a stupa of the Buddha’s relics together. After the passing away, the Buddha’s relics were divided into 8 parts and distributed to the kings of different cities in order to install the relics in their own cities. The Venerable thought that in the future, people will not pay attention to pay respect and worship the relics that would be the cause of the relics disappeared and that will not be seen by people and the people will loss of benefits. The Venerable offered advice to the king to perform a ceremony of burying the relics. At that time, the king ordered his servants to dig a hole with 80 cubits deep on the southeastern of Rajagaha, and then perform a ceremony of the installation of the relics. Colophon: Folio 31 on the recto side: In Chunlasangkat (CS) 1286, a kap si year, on the third day of the waxing moon of the first lunar month, the seventh day of the week (Saturday) a ka hao day, [the writing was accomplished] at the time of thae kai thiang van (between 9.00–10.30 o’clock). Pha (Monk) Khamphin, Upasok Saenchan Munkhun and his children and wife, Mae Tue. We all sponsored the making of this manuscript [entitled] Nipphannasut to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. Nibbāna paccayo hontu (May this be a condition to reach Nibbāna).
