Prayers with the whole text written in Pali are used by monks, novices and Buddhists in the chanting ceremony and other Buddhist ceremonies. Colophon: Folio 31 on the recto side: Sangkat (CS) 1207, a hap sai year, on the full moon day of the eleventh lunar month, the fourth day of the week (Wednesday), a ka hao day, the writing was accomplished at the time of kòng ngai (between 7.30–9.00 o’clock). Pho Pao and his wife together with their children and relatives jointly sponsored the making of this manuscript [entitled] Pha bali sutmon (Prayers in Pali) to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. Nibbāna paccayo hotu (May this be a condition to reach Nibbāna).
