The text concerns the diverse names (usually 108) attributed to Hindu gods such as Piḷḷaiyār, Śiva, Murukaṉ, Rāmā, Kriṣṇā and Turkā (Sanskrit, Durga) which are chanted during their worship. It explains the mantiraṅkaḷ and rituals performed during the pūjā called carvāriṣṭa cānti aiming to get rid of all worries or sorrows in the world and to attain eternal peace. Size of the manuscript: 39,0cm x 3,3cm. The palm leaves of the text are numbered from 50 to 71; there are two blank leaves placed at the beginning and at the end of the text.The manuscript is in good condition, a few leaves are very damaged by larvae.
