All the texts focus mostly on preparations of elaborated medicines. The manuscript is in average condition, darkened by fungus infestation and slightly bitten by rodents. Text 1- The text has three leaves numbered from 22 to 24 on which the verses numbered from 8 to 28 are inscribed. The text describes formulations of medicines and the diseases they treat. It mentions Māltēvi paṟpam, Veḷḷīya paṟpam and Māltēvi kaṭṭu centūram for treating urinary tract infection (mēkam), a medicated oil (tailam) for applying on wounds (puṇ) and deeply infected wounds in sinus (purai), and various medicines (not categorised; maruntu) for treating fungal infection (paṭuttāmarai), scabies (ciraṅku), skin disease (kuṣṭam), diseases in pregnancy (karppa nōvu), enlargement of lymph node in inguinal region (araiyāppu) and in neck (kaṇṭamālai), as well as colic pain (cūlai). The text exposes a simple method (kurukku vaḻi) to prepare calcined red medicines from metals and minerals (centūram). It explains briefly the rejuvenation medicines developed by cittarkaḷ (cittar kaṟpam) and the traditional method to prepare them (āti kaṟpam). Additionally, it details symptoms of scorpion (tēḷ) and of insect (cil) stings. Text 2- The text contains 8 leaves numbered from 30 to 38 the leaf 37 is missing. While the text is originally of 50 verses, only those from 9 to 47 are present. The text explains formulations of various medicines whose the category is not specified (maruntu) for treating two types of piles (mūlavāyu, mūlam), internal and external piles (kīḷ and mēl mūlam), dysentery (kirāṇi), gastritis (kuṉmam), diseases caused by vāta or pitta imbalance and 20 diseases caused by kapa imbalance (aiyam 20). The text describes false pregnancy (poykkarppa nilai). It provides also information on yoga (yōka nilai), on the eight major yogic postures (aṣṭāṅka yokam). It exposes the powerful method to pray and to attain eternal wisdom (ñāṉam). Additionally, the text provides diverse Tamil synonyms of fuller’s earth (pūnīriṉ peyarkaḷ). Text 3- The text, entitled Akattiyar Atīta Cūttiram- 60, has three leaves numbered from 44 to 47 on which the verses 41 to 51 and from 57 to 60 are inscribed. The text describes formulations of three complex medicines: Tāmira paṟpam, Raca meḻuku and Pāṣāṇa kaṭṭu. It also informs on the manner to attract people (vacīkaram). Text 4- The text, entitled Cattalōka Māraṇam, was written by Akattiyar. It contains 12 palm leaves from 52 to 67 on which the verses 22 to 52, 63 to 73, 79 to 84 and 93 to 112 are inscribed. The text describes formulations of medicines concerning: Calcined white medicines prepared from metals and minerals: Aritāra paṟpam, Cūta paṟpam, Pavaḻa paṟpam, Tāḷaka paṟpam, Vajjira paṟpam, Paccai paṟpam, Marakata paṟpam, Nīla paṟpam, Civappu paṟpam, Puṣparāka paṟpam, Kōmētaka paṟpam and Vaiṭūriya paṟpam. Calcined red medicines prepared from metals and minerals: Vaciya centūram, Āti raca centūram, Tāḷaka centūram, Apraka centūram and Aṣṭa kāca kuṭōri centūram. Pills: Vaṅkāṉa cañcīvi akkiṉi kumāram, Uttama akkiṉi kumāram, Cintāmaṇi māttirai and Vāta rāṭcacaṉ Mercurial pills: Mirutāṅki kuru and Pañca pāṣāṇa kuru. Medicated acids: Makā tirāvakam Size of the manuscript: 32,0cm x 4,3cm. The text 1 is composed of palm leaves numbered from 22 to 24; text 2 of palm leaves numbered from 30 to 38 (missing leaf: n°37); text 3 of palm leaves numbered from 44 to 47 (missing leaf: n°48); and the text 4 of leavesnumbered from 52 to 67 (missing leaves: n°58, 59, 62, 64). The manuscript is in average condition: the leaves are slightly affected by larvae and fungus; some leaves have been partly bitten by rodents.
