The manuscript is composed of 65 texts organized as: the 2 first are not numbered; the palm leaves of texts 3-49 are numbered from 1 to 228; of the texts 50-54 from 30 to 56; of the texts 55-58 from 261 to 270; of the text 59 from 181 to 182; of the texts 60-63 from 80 to 86 and those of the texts 64-65 are not numbered. The numbering of leaves is quite often difficult to decipher as the numbers are struck out. Due to the great confusion of leaves' numbering, one would suppose that that of the texts 48-52 would be 230 to 256 and of the texts 57, 281 and 282; the numbering of the texts 58-61 is however problematic. The texts of the manuscript, mostly written in verses, concern medicine, notably pharmacopeia and diseases, processes used in alchemy and pharmacy and esotericism, notably the power acquired by the practice of yoga. The state of the manuscript is good; the larvae which attacked the leaves have destroyed sometimes the scripts.

Text 1: The text, entitled Koṟṟvai Nūl Cāttiram, quotes some verses on the recto of the 2nd palm leaf of the manuscript. The text mentions medicines for treating some diseases, notably indigestion (uppicam), as well as the process to purify raw materials (carakku cutti) used to prepare medicines.

Text 2: The text, entitled Koṟṟvai Nūl Cāttiram – Upatēcam, presents some verses on the verso of the 2nd palm leaf which expose the process to purify calcium carbonate (kaṟcuṇṇam) and formulations of medicines in which this product is used. It quotes some recommendations of cittarkaḷ (yogis supposed to be authors of siddha knowledge) emphasising on the importance to observe strictly the texts when preparing medicines.

Text 3: The text is entitled Pañca Pūta Carakku Viparam, and contains a palm leaf numbered 1. It mentions some verses which defines the five elements (pañca pūtam) composing the raw materials used in medicines.

Text 4: The text, made of the palm leaves numbered 2 and 3, presents a few verses related to the formulations of Muppu cuṇṇam, Mirutāraciṅki cuṇṇam, Kiḷiñcal cuṇṇam, Aṇṭa cuṇṇam and Muppukāram.

Text 5: The text is written on the palm leaf n° 4. The verses it mentions the method of collection of fuller’s earth (pūnīru).

Text 6: The text, entitled Vaṅka Raca Kuru Paṟpam, is made of the palm leaf n° 5 on which the verses explain the formulation of the paṟpam mentioned in the title.

Text 7: The text, entitled Nātaṉ Vākku Avuṣata Kālam, is composed of the palm leaves n°6 and 7. It presents verses which detail the preparation of centūram (calcined red medicines) made of gold (taṅkam), iron (irumpu), asbestos (kalnār), nine gems (navaratiṉam) and aqua stone (keruṭaṉ).

Text 8: The text, entitled Ayyaṉ Muppu Tiṭṭam, is written on the palm leaf n°8. It is a selection of verses describing the combination of three salts (muppū).

Text 9: The text, entitled Pulipāṇi Vaittiya Muppu, consists in the palm leaves n°9 and 10 (recto). It selects some verses which define the diverse types of three salts (muppu) used in medical treatment.

Text 10: The text, entitled Aintu Cuṇṇa Kukai, is formed by the palm leaves n°10 (verso) and 11 (recto). It presents verses which explain the process to make a crucible (kukai) from five calcined white products (añcu cuṇṇa).

Text 11: The text, written on the verso of the palm leaf n°11, mentions verses which specify the raw materials used in medicinal formulations.

Text 12: The text, entitled Caṭṭamuṉi Vākku, is written in prose on the recto of the palm leaf n°12. It describes the methods to achieve the state of blissfulness (yōkanilai) which is considered as the ultimate state obtained through meditation.

Text 13: The text, entitled Ayyaṉ Vākku, written in prose on the palm leaves n°12 (verso) and 13 (recto). As the text 12, it indicates the methods to achieve the state of blissfulness (yōkanilai) through the practice of meditation.

Text 14: The text, entitled Nātaṉ Ayyaṉ Vākku is written on the palm leaves n°13 (verso) and 14 (recto). The text describes some formulations for treating cough (irumal), hiccup (vikkal) and diseases caused by vāta imbalance, as well as a medicine (maruntu) to induce diarrhea (cuka pēti) in order to clean the body.

Text 15: The text, entitled Nātaṉ Iṉāiṉ Carakku, is written in verses on the verso of the half leaf n°14. It mentions Caya kulāntaka centūram and Akattiyar aṭṭa kācakuṭōri as well as medicines (maruntu; not named) for treating anemia (pāṇṭu) and jaundice (kāmālai) and diseases treating by centūram (calcined red medicine prepared from metals and minerals).

Text 16: The text, entitled Nīlakaṇṭa centūram, contains selected verses written on the palm leaves numbered from 15 to 20. It explains the preparation of Nīlakaṇṭa centūram, Tāmira centūram and Taṅka cuṇṇam and mentions the adjuvant prescribed with centūram (calcined red medicine prepared from metals and minerals). It mentions the method to purify raw materials (cutti vakai) and the combination of three salts (muppū).

Text 17: The text, entitled Akattiyar Kuṟunīr, contains a few verses written on the palm leaf n°21 which present the preparation of Kuṟunīr, Kariyuppu cuṇṇam and ceyanīr.

Text 18: The text, entitled Akattiyar Muppu- 16, is composed of a few verses written on the palm leaf n°22 which describe combination of three salts (muppū).

Text 19: The text, entitled Akattiyar Aṇṭanīr-16, is formed by the palm leaves numbered from 23 to 30, on which verses present the preparation of the medicines: Cīta cura kaṣāyam; Kaṭṭu māttirai, Vajjira kapāṭa māttirai and Cakala cura māttirai; Miruttuvāti kuḷikai, Makā miruttuvāti kuḷikai, Aritāra kuḷikai, Kōrōcaṇai kuḷikai and Aritāra kuḷikai for treating fever with chills (kuḷir curam); a pill (uṇṭai) for treating flatus (tica vāyu) and a medicine (maruntu; not specified) for menorrhagia (perumpāṭu). The verses describe the preparation of products used in alchemy and medicine, aṇṭanīr and veṭiyuppu ceyanīṟu, the preparation of Uppu kaṭṭu, Tāḷaka veḷḷai, Liṅka cuṇṇam, Turucu kenti cuṇṇam, Veḷḷai pāṣāṇa cuṇṇam and Kaṟiyuppu cuṇṇam, as well as the process to purify zinc (nāka cutti).

Text 20: The text, composed of palm leaves numbered from 31 to 42, presents verses which provide information on the formulations of pills, notably Akkiṉi kumāraṉ, Racapūpati and Carvarōka arirēcaka kuḷikai, the process to purify arsenic (tāḷakam), and on a disease, ascitis (makōtaram).

Text 21: The text is made of the palm leaves numbered from 43 to 47 whose the verses present the formulation of a pill called Rataṉa pūpati māttirai.

Text 22: The text is entiled Akattiyar Cura Kōṭāli and formed by the palm leaves numbered from 48 to 66 (recto). Written in verses, it presents formulations of complex medicines such as Cura kōṭāli, Tāḷaka kaṭṭu, as well as a specific medicine made of calomel (Racakarpūram).

Text 23: The text, entitled Akattiyar Cutti Vakai, is constituted of the palm leaves numbered from 66 (verso) to 70. Written in verses, the text exposes the process to purify arsenic disulphide (maṉōcilai), arsenic tri sulphide (aritāram) and coral (pavalam).

Text 24: The text is an abridgement of Akattiyar- 300 of palm leaves numbered from 71 to 74. Written in verses, it presents the process to prepare a magnetic vessel (kānta kiṇṇam) which is used to store medicines.

Text 25: The text is an abridgement of Akattiyar- 205 formed by the palm leaf 75. It describes, in verses, the formulation of Turicu cuṇṇam.

Text 26: The text, an excerpt of a text written by Akattiyar, comprises the palm leaves numbered 76 to 82. The text exposes, in verses, the formulation of Vāyuveṇṇey, Linka centūram, Oma tirāvakam, and several medicated oils, among those for treating eczema (karappāṉ) and urinary tract infections (mēkam).

Text 27: The text, by Tirumūlar, is composed of the palm leaves numbered from 83 to 86 (recto). The text written in verses details formulations of medicines such as Kiranti eṇṇey, an oil (eṇṇey) for treating all diseases, and medicines (not specified, maruntu) for treating delirium (caṉṉi tōṣam) and reducing sensation of thirst (nāvaṟaṭci).

Text 28: The text, by Taṉvantiri, is written in verses on the leaves 86 (verso) and 87 (recto). The text describes flatulence caused by deranged pitta (pitta vāyu), bleeding piles (ratta mōlam) in babies and presents a decoction (kaṣāyam) for stopping dysentery (kirāṇi).

Text 29: The text, entitled Maccamuṉi Maruntukaḷ, is written in verses on the palm leaves from 87 (verso) to 99. It defines some troubles as varied as oliguria (nīraṭaippu), thirst (nāvaṟaṭci) and muscle pull (vāyu pitippu).

Text 30: The text, whose the title is Nātaṉ Vākku, is written the recto of the palm leaf n° 100. It presents, in verses, the formulation of Cuyamākiṉi centūram.

Text 31: The text, entitled Akattiyar Vākku, comprises the palm leaves numbered from100 (verso) to 103 (recto). It provides, in verses, the formulation of Ayayōka veṇṇey, Lōka centūram, Cempu veḷḷai, Nāka veḷḷai and a pungent product used in medicine and alchemy called ceyanīr.

Text 32: The text, entitled Centūratāl Tīrum Viyāti, is composed of the palm leaves numbered from 103 (verso) to 106 (recto) on which the formulations of Centūra māttirai, Kānta centūram and Taṅka centūram are described in verses.

Text 33: The text contains the leaves numbered from 106 (verso) to 107; the leaf 107 is double. It exposes, in verses, formulations of Tāḷaka paṟpam, Raca paṟpam and Taṅka paṟpam.

Text 34: The text, entitled Cattalōka Māraṇam, by Akattiyar is written in verses on the recto of the palm leaf n°10 explains the process to neutralise the impurity of the seven metals (cattalōkam) or to kill the seven metals.

Text 35: The text, by Akattiyar, is written in verses on the verso of the palm leaf n°108. It explains the formulation of Tāmira paṟpam.

Text 36: The text is written in verses on the palm leaves numbered from 109 to 139. It describes formulations of medicines such as Corṇa paṟpam, as well as of many types of centūram (red calcinated products based on metals and minerals), medicines incorporating centūram and the diseases treated by them.

Text 37: The text is composed of the palm leaves numbered from 140 to 151 which explain, in verses, the process to prepare medicines, notably Kānta paṟpam, Aritāra paṟpam, Tāmira paṟpam and as well as of many types of centūram (red calcined products based on metals and minerals).

Text 38: The text, entitled Pirammamuṉi Paṟpa Vakai, is composed of the palm leaves numbered from 152 to 155 (recto). The text presents, in verses, the formulation of Pavaḷa paṟpam and Ciṅka paṟpam.

Text 39: The text is entitled Akattiyar Aṣṭa Kāca Kuṭōri, written in verses on the palm leaves numbered from 155 (verso) to 173. The text describes the formulation of medicated oils (tailam) and pills (māttirai).

Text 40: The text is an abridgement of Akattiyar- 600 made of the palm leaves numbered from 174 to 181.The text, written in verses, presents medicinal formulation for treating 80 types of diseases caused by vāta imbalance, 40 types of diseases caused by pitta imbalance, 96 types of diseases caused by cilēttuma imbalance (96) and 20 types of diseases caused by vāta, pitta and cilēttuma imbalance, 21 types of urinary tract infections (mēkam), piles (mūlam), jaundice (kāmālai), ascitis (peruvayiṟu), blood vomiting (ratta vānti), gastric ulcer (kuṉmam) and liver cirrhosis (kulaippuṇ), fistula (pavuttiram), flatus (vāyu), leprosy (peru viyāti), skin diseases (kūṭṭam), pruritus (ūṟal), leucoderma (veḷḷai), hypo-pigmented patches on skin (tēmal), scabies (coṟi ciraṅku), eczema (karappāṉ), carbuncle (vippuruti), diseases of skull (kapāla cūlai), tuberculosis (cayam), asthma (kācam), fever (curam), enlargement of lymph node in neck region (kaṇṭamālai), eye diseases (nēttira viyāti), and poison bites (viṣa pākam).

Text 41: The text is entitled Pirammamuṉi Caṇṭamāruta Kuḻampu, written in verses on the palm leaves numbered from 182 to 184 (recto). The text explains the preparation of a medicine called Caṇṭamāruta kuḻampu.

Text 42: The text is written in verses by Pirammamuṉi on the palm leaves from 184 (verso) to 186 (recto). It describes the formulation of an oil for treating urinary tract infections (mēkam).

Text 43: The text by Pirammamuṉi, is written in verses on the palm leaves numbered from 186 (verso) to 197 (recto). The text provides the formulation of medicated oils such as Navācāra eṇṇey, and for treating diseases during pregnancy (karppa nōy) and sinusitis (pīṉicam).

Text 44: The text by Akattiyar is written on the palm leaves numbered from 197 (verso) to 207. Written in verses, it explains medicinal formulations for treating delirium (caṉṉi pātam), colic pain (cūlai), diseases caused by vāta imbalance, indigestion (manta vāyu). It describes preparation of dried plant powders based on Tinospora cordifolia (cīntil), and Amorphophallus campanulatus (kāṭṭukaruṇai), and one called Pūraṇa vayāti cūraṇam used to improve male potency (tātu puṣṭi).

Text 45: The text, an excerpt of Pirammamuṉi- 700, is written inverses on the leaf n° 208. The text concerns the formulation of Kapāṭa cūraṇam and Veḷuḷḷi cūraṇam.

Text 46: The text is also an excerpt of Pirammamuṉi- 700 which provides another method to prepare Kapāṭa cūraṇam and mentions the formulation of Vilvāti lēkiyam. It is written on the palm leaves numbered from 209 to 210 (recto).

Text 47: The text, entitled Akattiyar Vācāti, is composed of the palm leaves numbered from 210 (verso) to 219. The text describes in verses the formulation of Aṣṭa cūraṇam and Acuvakantāti cūraṇam.

Text 48: The text, entitled Akattiyar Vācāti Cūraṇam, is made of the palm leaves numbered from 220 to 223 on which the formulation of Vācāti cūraṇam is given. The text mentions that this medicine does not require dietary proscription.

Text 49: The text is formed by the palm leaves numbered from 224 to 228. Written in verses, the text describes the formulations of Muṭakkuvāta eṇṇey, Amukkarā cūraṇam and Āṟuvakai cūraṇam, Amukkarā māttirai, Kaṭukāy lēkiyam and Āṭātōṭai lēkiyam used to treat all diseases (cakala nōy), as well as medicines (maruntu; not named) to treat arthritis (muṭakku vātam), calcaneal spur (kutikāl vātam), colic pain (cūlai vāyu) and venereal diseases (mēkaveṭṭai).

Text 50: The text comprises palm leaves numbered from 30 to 33 (recto) which provide in verses formulations of decoctions (kaṣāyam) and adjuvants.

Text 51: The text is entitled Prammamuṉi Pūraṇāti Lēkiyam. Written in verses on the palm leaves 33 (verso) and 34 (recto), it describes the formulation of Pūraṇāti lēkiyam.

Text 52: The text, also entitled Akattiyar Pūraṇāti Lēkiyam, is written in verses on the palm leaves numbered from 34 (verso) to 36 (recto). The text presents another method to prepare Pūraṇāti lēkiyam.

Text 53: The text, entitled Akattiyar Lēkiyam, is formed by 13 palm leaves and half numbered from 36 (verso) to 55 (great confusion in numbering). The text describes the preparation of Tiritōṣam kaṣāyam, Aṣṭa lēkiyam Tippilāti lēkiyam as well as Caṇṭamāruta lēkiyam for treating cough (irumal), Uḷḷi racāyaṇam for treating dysmenorrhea (cūtaka vāyu), Pañcatārai kuḻampu, Kuṉmakuṭōri kuḷikai using the method developed by Caṅku Paratēciyār and Palakaṟai meḻuku. It provides well as pastes made of fresh medicinal plant (kaṟkkam) for treating veneral disease (piramēkam), infertility (malaṭu) and facilitating delivery (cīkkiratil piḷḷai piṟakka), dried plant powder (cūraṇam) for treating eight types of gastric ulcer (kuṉmam), a decoction (kuṭinīr) for treating amenorrhoea (cūtakaṭṭu), a syrup (curacam) for treating delirium (caṉṉi tōṣam), and medicines (maruntu, not specified) for treating venereal diseases (veṭṭai kotippu), heart diseases (tamaraka vāyu), tuberculosis (īḷai), asthma (iraippu), cough (irumal) and fever (curam). The text presents the process of purification (cutti) of seeds of Semicarpus anacardium (cēṅkoṭṭai).

Text 54: The text is entitled Tanvantiri Kaṣāyam written on the palm leaves numbered from 55 (verso) to 56. The text presents the formulation of medicine for flatulence cause by pitta imbalance (pittavāyu) and dysentery (kiraṇi).

Text 55: The text is entitled Akattiyar Kaṣāyam and written in verses on the palm leaves numbered 261 to 263. The text deals with formulations of decoctions (kaṣāya vakai).

Text 56: The text, written in verses by Pirammamuṉi is made of the palm leaves numbered from 264 to 266.The text describes the formulation of Kantaka centūram.

Text 57: The text, written in verses by Akattiyar, is composed of the palm leaves numbered 267 to 268. The text exposes some formulation of dried plant powders (cūraṇam) and of calcined white medicine prepared from metals and minerals (paṟpam). Text 58: The text, entitled Pirammamuṉi Pūraṇāti Lēkiyam is written in verses on the palm leaves numbered from 269 to 270. The text describes the formulation of medicine called Pūraṇāti lēkiyam.

Text 59: The text is entitled Akattiyar Kuḻampu and made of the palm leaves numbered 181 and 182. As stipulated in the title, the text explains the formulation of Akattiyar kuḻampu.

Text 60: The text, entitled Cilācattu Paṟpam, is written on a palm leaves whose the number is supposed to be 80. It provides the formulation of the paṟpam mentioned in the title.

Text 61: The text, by Koṅkaṇar, is written on the palm leaves whose the numbers are supposed to be 81 and 82. The text concerns the formulation of Uppu kaṭṭu and Tāḷaka kaṭṭu.

Text 62: The text, written in verses by Pirammamuṉi on the palm leaves numbered from 83 to84 (recto) presents the formulation of Liṅka kaṭṭu and Kommaṭṭi kuḻampu.

Text 63: The text is written by Akattiyar on 3 palm leaves: two numbered 84 (verso) and 86, and one without a number. The text mentions the formulations of Kentaka paṟpam, Apraka paṟpam, Ākāca veḷḷai and Kauri māltēvi kaṭṭu.

Text 64: The text, entitled Pirammamuṉi Veṭiyuppu Ceyanīr, is written on 5 palm leaves which are not numbered. The text written in verse presents the formulation of the pungent product mentioned in title.

Text 65: The text contains palm leaves numbered from 100 to 105. The text describes medicines used for antenatal care, notably electuaries (lēkiyam), medicated oils (eṇṇey) and pills (kuḷikai). It recommends a medicated oil (eṇṇey) for treating sterile females (karppam uṇṭāka) and a pill (kuḷikai) to increase male potency (tātu virutti). Size of the manuscript: 32,0cm x 3,8cm. The manuscript is formed by 65 texts organized as: the 2 first are not numbered; the palm leaves of texts 3-49 are numbered from 1 to 228; of the texts 50-54 from 30 to 56; of the texts 55-58 from 261 to 270; of the text 59 from 181 to 182; of the texts 60-63 from 80 to 86 and those of the texts 64-65 are not numbered. The numbering of texts, quite often difficult to decipher as the numbers are stroken out, is mentioned in the description. The manuscript, very affected by larvae is in bad condition; a part of text is missing on the first 20 leaves as they are broken.
