It concerns fits or convulsions called piraḷi for which it describes the types: vāyu piraḷi, akkiṉi piraḷi, paccai piraḷi, cura piraḷi, nīr piraḷi, tuṭṭu piraḷi, muṟukku piraḷi, viṣa piraḷi, tonta piraḷi, cuvāca kāca piraḷi, aticāra piraḷi, vimalakaṅṭa piraḷi, mañcaḷ piraḷi and iḻaippu piraḷi.
