San Fernando Club Balneario [1930s-1940s]

Description: This envelope shows us the first years of existence of the San Fernando Club that was created in 1923 for the practice of seamanship and other nautical sports. It was an elegant place where upper middle class and the upper classes could enjoy the delta of the Paraná River flowing into the River Plate. It also included and includes other sports such as rugby, tennis, and football. This is a tampered envelope that contains photos and clippings from magazines’ and newspapers’ articles. Extent of original: Tampered envelope. Condition of original: Regular to bad condition.
