Description: This envelope informs about the town San Justo, then city, in the Argentine province of Buenos Aires and in the district of La Matanza. The latter is characterised by cattle breeding and this envelope shows the town, the ladies of charity, the feasts of the elite as well as the celebrations of the rural workers (or gauchos), the local shelters, the Italian Hospital--still in existence--, the schools the acts of the Japanese immigration, the various religious ceremonies, the sports, and the cemetery in the pre-modern times.
