Description: This handmade envelope contains photos and newspapers’ and magazines’ articles and clippings that inform us about the Hogar of the Virgin of Pilar, a devotion that set off in the Middle Ages in Spain and grew with a strong sense of Spanish nationalism in Argentina. The Virgin of Pilar is the protector of the Hispanic culture (or Hispanidad) and, in this sense, the Hogar sheltered Spanish old women and men.
