Description: This handmade envelope contains photos, engravings, printed illustrations, caricatures, one drawing plus newspapers’ and magazines’ articles and clippings that inform us on Mario Zavattaro. He was an Italian illustrator, caricaturist, and painter who migrated to Argentina at the beginning of the 20th century where he died in 1932. He was also a critic in the publications Crítica and the Haynes Company’s magazine P.B.T. He became well known due to his work on the gauchos and other rural actors and scenes.
