Mortuoria de Francisca Tamayo. Incluye testamento cerrado, codicilo, inventario y avalúo de bienes en los que figuran varios esclavizados de mina, casas, muebles, joyas y ropa. Contiene oposiciones a los bienes de la difunta, entre las que se encuentran los testimonios de las esclavizadas María Bran y María Pulgarín en la probanza adelantada por Martín Delgado Jurado con la que pretendía mostrar lo que la difunta le adeudaba. En reiteradas ocasiones los acreedores sugirieron vender de los esclavizados para solventar las deudas. No obstante, según el testamento, dichos esclavizados debían producir durante 2 años para pagar las obligaciones y para fundar una capellanía en favor del capellán Juan Taborda de Lescano. Uno de los albaceas, el capitán Juan Jaramillo, se opuso a a la propuesta de los acreedores amparándose en la real cédula que prohibía que se utilizaran las propiedades de los mineros para liquidar deudas. En su lugar, sugirió rematar los demás bienes. Pese a este alegato, la sentencia ordenó la venta de 3 esclavizados.
Extent: 115 paper folios.
Condition of original material: Deteriorated. Most of the volume shows stains, oxidation of the paper and signs of damp, particularly in the upper margin. Folios 15-17, 22, 26, 32, 46-53, 60, 66, 81, 104-105 and 113-114 are torn and affected by iron gall ink. Folios 83 and 107 are partially destroyed. Folios 90 and 112 are torn at the lower right margin.
