The text tells about Pārisuddhi-sīla, the fourfold morality consisting in purity as following: 1. Pātimokkhasaṃvara-sīla: restraint in accordance with the monastic disciplinary code. 2. Indriyasaṃvara-sīla: restraint othe senses. 3. Ājīvapārisuddhi-sīla: purity of conduct as regards livelihood. 4. Paccayasannissita-sīla: pure conduct as regards the necessities of life. Colophon: Folio 8 on the verso side: The writing of this manuscript was accomplished at the time of kòng laeng (between 13.30–15.00 o’clock). Novice Pan from Muangkham temple wrote this manuscript of Sin 4 (four precepts) to support the religion. My handwriting is not beautiful as I am a new writer.
