Nyòttham or Cundasukarikasutta consists of four fascicles. The first two fascicles are written Pali and the other two fascicles are explanation into Lao. It is called yòttham (peak of the Dhamma) as it is integrated all the Dhamma of 84,000 categories. The content tells about the rewards derived from listening to the preaching of the Cundasukarikasutta. The Buddha told the monks about the story of his previous life. The Bodhisatta was reborn as a minister named Dhammikabandit in Sivirattha nakhon. He listened to the preaching of the Cundasukarikasutta and offered the eight requisites to four monks. Due to the power of the merit, there was an effulgent light up to Tavatimsa heaven. When Indra knew, he ordered Matali devaputta came down to the earth and brought Dhammakabandit to the heaven. After conversation, Indra invited the Bodhisatta lived in the heaven. But the Bodhisatta declined and told Indra that he has to collect perfections in the world. He would come later. Colophon: Folio 9 on the recto side: Chunlasangkatrasa 1265, a kap si year, on the eleventh day of the waning moon of the sixth lunar month, the third day of the week (Tuesday), the writing was accomplished at the time of the kòng ngai (between 7.30–9.00 o’clock). The initiator, Sathu Nyai (Queen) together with her children, grandchildren and relatives had pleasure in mind, and faith in the Teachings of the Buddha, high kindness and the religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitiled Nyòttham (Peak of the Dhamma) to dedicate to the royal king who died. When he was close to die, his mind might set in a bad mood and went to the four unhappy planes and later born as a hungry ghost or a ghost stuck in somewhere. May the results of this merit to support him and move him to a good place. Even if he is already in a good place, may he have more divine properties than ever by one hundred and one thousand times. May this come true. Amen, amen! May the alms that I have already given be a condition for us to reach Nibbāna.
