Sadhammo or Saddhammopayana means the gift-offering of the true Dhamma. The text is the Buddhist teachings exhort on abstaining from doing all evils, but cultivating good and striving more meritorious. Moreover, the text also relates about the births of human beings in the round of rebriths. Everyone has ever been born in various planes such as hells, realm of hungry ghosts, animals, human world or even heavenly worlds. To be born as a human being is regarded to be born in the best world. Performance of the merit includes alms-giving, observing the precepts, listening to the Dhamma, practicing meditation, and not careless in the Dhamma. Colophon: Folio 29 on the recto side: In Buddhist Era (BE) 2474, a huang mot year, on the sixth day of the waxing moon of the tenth lunar month, the fifth day of the week (Thursday), the writing was accomplished at the time of kòng ngai (between 7.30–9.00 o’clock). Princess Phaengta from Xiang Muan village together with her children and grandchildren sponsored the making of these four manuscript-fascicles entitled Sathammopanyana (Sadhammopāyana) to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years.
