ສະທໍາໂມ ຫຼື ສະທໍາໂມປາຍະນະ ແປວ່າ ການຖວາຍພະທໍາອັນແທ້ຈິງ. ເນື້ອຫາກ່າວເຖິງຄໍາສອນທາງພະພຸດທະສາສະນາ ເຕືອນສະຕິໃຫ້ຫຼີກເວັ້ນຈາກການກະທໍາຊົ່ວ ຕັ້ງຕົນຢູ່ໃນຄວາມດີ ແລະບໍາເພັນບຸນກຸສົນໃຫ້ຫຼາຍຂຶ້ນເລື້ອຍໆ. ນອກຈາກນັ້ນ ຍັງອະທິບາຍເຖິງ ການເກີດຂອງຄົນໃນວັດຕະສົງສານ ມະນຸດແຕ່ລະຄົນລ້ວນແຕ່ເຄີຍຜ່ານການເກີດໃນພົບພູມຕ່າງໆ ມາກ່ອນເຊັ່ນ ເກີດເປັນສັດນະຮົກ, ເປັນເຜດ, ສັດເດຍລະສານ, ມະນຸດ ຫຼື ບາງຄົນກໍ່ອາດໄດ້ເກີດເປັນເທວະດາໃນເທວະໂລກ. ການເກີດໃນມະນຸດສະໂລກຖືວ່າ ເປັນການເກີດໃນພົບພູມທີ່ປະເສີດທີ່ສຸດ. ການບໍາເພັນກຸສົນ ປະກອບດ້ວຍການໃຫ້ທານ, ຮັກສາສີນ, ຟັງທໍາ, ເມດຕາພາວະນາ ແລະບໍ່ປະມາດໃນທໍາ. ຄໍາລົງທ້າຍ: (໑) ລານທີ ໓໒ ໜ້າ ໒: ຜູກຖ້ວນ ໔ ນິບພານະ ປັດຈະໂຍ ໂຫນຕຸ ເມ ສາທຸໆ ຂ້າພະເຈົ້າຜູ້ຊື່ວ່າ ດິດສະປັນຍາ ວັດປາກຊີ ໄດ້ມີໃຈໃສສັດທາໄດ້ຂຽນ ສະທໍາໂມ ໒ ຜູກນີ້ ຂໍໃຫ້ຜະລະກຸສົນສ່ວນບຸນອັນນີ້ຄໍ້າຊູຜູ້ຂ້າໃຫ້ໄດ້ໄປເກີດໃນວຽງແກ້ວອັນກລ່າວແລ້ວຄືວ່າ ນີຣະພານ ກໍ່ຂ້າເທີ້ນ ນິບພານັງ ປາຣະມັງ ສຸກຂັງ ນິດຈັງ ທຸວັງໆ ບໍ່ງາມປານໃດແລ້ວ ບຸບຜະປັນຍາເປັນສັດທາສ້າງແລ. ຄໍາລົງທ້າຍ: (໒) ລານທີ ໓໓ ໜ້າ ໑: ຈຸນລະສັງກາດ ໑໒໙໓ ຕົວ ປີຮ້ວງມົດ ເດືອນ ໑໐ ຂຶ້ນ ໖ ຄໍ່າ ວັນ ໕ ສະເດັດແລ້ວຍາມກອງງາຍ ດິດສະພິກຂຸລິກຂິກຕະ ໒ ຜູກ ອຸປາສິກາໝ່ອມແພງຕາແລະບຸດຕະນັດຕາສັດທາໃບລານສ້າງ ທໍາມະ ສະທໍາໂມປາຍະນະ ໔ ຜູກນີ້ໄວ້ໂຊຕະກະສາສະໜາ ຕາບອາຍຸລານ ນິບພານະ ໂຫຕຸ ອະນະຄະເຕກາເລ.
Sadhammo or Saddhammopayana means the gift-offering of the true Dhamma. The text is the Buddhist teachings exhort on abstaining from doing all evils, but cultivating good and striving more meritorious. Moreover, the text also relates about the births of human beings in the round of rebriths. Everyone has ever been born in various planes such as hells, realm of hungry ghosts, animals, human world or even heavenly worlds. To be born as a human being is regarded to be born in the best world. Performance of the merit includes alms-giving, observing the precepts, listening to the Dhamma, practicing meditation, and not careless in the Dhamma. Colophons: (1) Folio 32 on the verso side: Fascicle 4. May this be a condition for me to reach Nirvana. My name is Dissapannya from Vat Paksi temple had the religious faith to write these two manuscript-fascicles entitled Sathammo (Sadhammo). May the results of this merit support me to be born in the crystal city that is Nirvana, definitely. Nirvana is the greatest bliss, constantly and certainly. [My handwriting] is not beautiful. Bupphapannya was the sponsor. (2) Folio 33 on the recto side: In Chunlasangkat (CS) 1293, a huang mot year, on the sixth day of the waxing moon of the tenth lunar month, the fifth day of the week (Thursday), the writing was accomplished at the time of kòng ngai (between 7.30–9.00 o’clock). Dissapannya Phikkhu is the scribe. Two fascicles. Lay Princess Phaengta and her children and grandchildren sponsored the palm leaves and the making of these four manuscript-fascicles entitled Sathammopanyana (Sadhammopāyana) to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of the palm leaves. May this be a condition to reach Nirvana in the future.
