ປ່າຫິມມະພານ ຫຼືຫິມະວັນ ເປັນປ່າໃຫຍ່ແລະເປັນດິນແດນສັກສິດ ຕາມຄະຕິຂອງສາສະໜາຮິນດູມີຄວາມເຊື່ອວ່າ ປ່າຫິມມະພານຕັ້ງຢູ່ເທິງເຂົາພະສຸເມນ ມີເນື້ອທີ່ປະມານ ໓,໐໐໐ ໂຍດ (໑ ໂຍດ ເທົ່າກັນ ໑໖ ກິໂລແມັດ), ວັດໂດຍຮອບໄດ້ ໙,໐໐໐ ໂຍດ ປະດັບດ້ວຍຍອດ ໘໔,໐໐໐ ຍອດ ມີສະໃຫຍ່ ໗ ສະ ມີສະອະໂນດາດເປັນຕົ້ນ. ໃນປ່າຫິມມະພານເຕັມໄປດ້ວຍສັດນານາຊະນິດ ຊຶ່ງລ້ວນແປກປະຫຼາດ ຕ່າງຈາກສັດທີ່ມະນຸດທົ່ວໄປຮູ້ຈັກ ເປັນສັດຫຼາຍຢ່າງຜະສົມກັນແລ້ວຕັ້ງຊື່ຂຶ້ນໃໝ່ ບັນດາສັດເຫຼົ່ານັ້ນເປັນທີ່ຮູ້ຈັກໃນນາມຂອງສັດປ່າຫິມມະພານ. ຄໍາລົງທ້າຍ: ລານທີ ໑໘ ໜ້າ ໑: ສີສຸມັງຄະລະ ສັງກາດຣາຊະໄດ້ ໑໒໙໓ ຕົວ ປີຮ້ວງມົດ ເດືອນ ຈຽງ ຂຶ້ນ ໗ ຄໍ່າ ພໍ່າວ່າໄດ້ ວັນ ໕ ຣິດຈະນາແລ້ວຍາມກອງງາຍ ໝາຍມີ ເຈົ້າຍຸຍ ເຈົ້າຜິວ ມີໃຈເຫລື້ອມໃສ ຈິ່ງໄດ້ສ້າງ ພື້ນປ່າຫິມມະພານ ຜູກນີ້ ໄວ້ກັບສາສະໜາພະພຸດທະເຈົ້າ ຕາບຕໍ່ເທົ້າ ໕໐໐໐ ວັດສາ. ຂໍຜົນອັນນີ້ເປັນປັດໄຈແກ່ພະນີພານຕັດບ່ວງເບັນຈະມານຂາດໄດ້ ຈົ່ງລຸພະນີພານດັ່ງຄໍາໝາຍແດ່ກໍ່ຂ້າເທີ້ນ ອະຣະຫັນຕິ ໂຫມິ ນິບພານະ ປັດຈະໂຍ ໂຫນຕຸ ໂນ ນິດຈັງ ທຸວັງ.

Himmapan Forest or Himmavanta is a large forest and a sacred land. According to Hinduism, it is believed, Himmapan Forest is located on the top of the Mount Sumeru, with an area of approximately 3,000 yojana (1 yojana equals 16 kilometers), measuring 9,000 yojana surrounding it, decorated with 84,000 peaks, with 7 large pools, such as Anodat pool, etc. In this Himmapan forest, there are many kinds of animals which are all strange and different from animals known to humans. They are a mixture of many animals and then given a new name. All the animals are known as Himmapan animals. Prince Yui and his wife, Princess Phio had the religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled Phün Pa Himmaphan (Legend of Himavanta forest) to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May the results of this merit be a condition for Nirvana and cut the five obstructions off and reach Nirvana as my wishes. May I obtain Arahantship. May this be a condition for us to reach Niravana, constantly and certainly.
