The text mentions the benefits derived from the offering of the Kathin robes. The story is about a servant of Siritham, the rich man from Paranasi, named Tinnapala. When Tinnapala saw the rich man and others preparing robes for offering the monks in the monastery, he was faithful and washed his cloth and dyed it with tannins. Then hurried and gave the cloth to the rich man. The rich man also appreciated and brought the cloth as part of the Kathina for monks. Tinnapala only wore leaves to prevent embarrassment.
