ກ່າວເຖິງອານິສົງການເຮັດທຸງຝ້າຍບູຊາພະຣັດຕະນະໄຕ. ໃນສະໄໝໜຶ່ງ ພະຜູ້ມີພະພາກເຈົ້າຊົງປະທັບຢູ່ທີ່ວັດເຊຕະວັນ ເມືອງສາວັດຖີ. ໃນຄັ້ງນັ້ນ ພະເຈົ້າປັດເສນທິໂກສົນໄດ້ເຂົ້າເຝົ້າພະພຸດທະອົງແລ້ວຖວາຍບັງຄົມທູນຖາມວ່າ ຂ້າແດ່ພະພຸດທະອົງ ອັນບຸກຄະລະຜູ້ໃດມີຈິດໃຈເຫຼື້ອມໃສສັດທາໄດ້ສ້າງຍັງທຸງ ບູຊາ ພະຣັດຕະນະໄຕ ຈະມີຜະລະອານິສົງເທົ່າໃດນໍ? ເມື່ອນັ້ນ ພະພຸດທະອົງຈຶ່ງຊົງຕັດວ່າ ດູລາ ມະຫາຣາດ ອັນວ່າບຸກຄະລະຜູ້ໃດມີຈິດໃຈເຫຼື້ອມໃສສັດທາໄດ້ສ້າງຍັງທຸງບູຊາ ພະຣັດຕະນະໄຕແກ້ວ ໓ ປະການ ຈະໄດ້ຮັບຜະລະອານິສົງມາກນັກ ຈະໄດ້ເປັນພະຍາໃນປະເທດສະຣາດ ຕາມບ້ານນ້ອຍ ເມືອງໃຫຍ່ ໄດ້ ໕,໐໐໐ ຊາດ, ຈະໄດ້ເປັນເສດຖີ ໕,໐໐໐ ຊາດ, ຈະມີຊ້າງ ໕,໐໐໐ ໂຕ ແລະຈະມີມ້າ ໕,໐໐໐ ໂຕ ເປັນຕົ້ນ.
Sòng thung fai means rewards derived from the making of religious cotton flags to worship the Triple Gem. On one occasion, the Buddha was dwelling at the Jetavana monastery in Savatthi. At the time, King Pasenadi came to the presence of the Buddha and asked him that, “dear Buddha, if any person who has the religious faith and make flags to worship the Triple Gem, what rewards will the person gain?. The Buddha then said, dear Majesty, the person who has the religious faith and make flags to worship the Triple Gem will gain much merit. He will be the king of many small and large cities for 5,000 existences, be a rich man for 5,000 existences. He will have 5,000 elephants and 5,000 horses.
