Prayers with the whole text written in Pali are used by monks, novices and Buddhists in the chanting ceremony and other Buddhist ceremonies. There are many chapters including Dhammacakkappavattana Sutta, Mahasamaya Sutta, Kusala-dhamma Sutta, Parābhava Sutta and etc. Colophon: Folio 34 on the recto side: Sangkatrasa (CS) 1288, a hwai nyi year, on the fourth day of the waxing moon of the eighth lunar month, Sunday, a ka sai day, the writing was accomplished at the time of kòng ngai (between 7.30–9.00 o’clock). Chan Man from Thinhong village and his parent and children had the ardent religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled Sutmon Kang (Prayers in the middle length) to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years.
