The text tells about the observance of the five precepts, eight precepts and tenfold wholesome course of action. These who want to observe the precepts must set the minds intentionally and firmly. If you make a mistake in any of the precepts, it is considered that all the precepts are lost. The Buddha preached a sermon to teach the four groups of Buddhist to behave in good ways, to be kind to one another, to be committed to giving alms, to be kind, and to be merciful, in order to be the protectors of us from going to any of the four hells. When we can maintain all the precepts without any defects, we will be pure and free from all hell. Xiang Lekchai and his wife named Sao Ònsi together with all their siblings had the most ardent religious faith to jointly sponsor the making of this manuscript-bundle entitled Patchavekkhanasut (Paccavekkha Sutta), to support the Teachings of Gotama Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May the results of this merit be a condition for us, husband and wife to last until entering into Nirvana and cut the five obstructions off and reach Nirvana as my wishes.
