The content explains the verse of Mangala Sutta, “Kataññutā, Gratitude is the highest blessing. Gratitude is being grateful that others have done for us. When others have done for us, no matter how much or how little, we should remember that kindness and when we have the opportunity, we should return that kindness as well. Colophon: Folio 26 on the recto side: Sangkatrasa (CS) 1232, a kot sanga year, on the fifth day of the waxing moon of th second lunar month, the third day of the week (Tuesday), a moeng hao day, the writing of this manuscript was accomplished at the time of tut sai (between 12.00–13.30 o’clock). Chao Phunyai Nama Sena and his wife and children had the ardent religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled Mangkhalathip (Mangaladipani), to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. Nibbāna paccayo hontu no niccaṃ dhuvaṃ dhuvaṃ (May this be a condition to reach Nirvanaa, constantly and certainly).
