Vinaya text. The prohibition for monks to participate in the ordination ceremony with the monks who are disqualified. If any monk violates the rules, he must be fined of a dukkata offence. The monk who is disqauilified of 20 as following: 1. No preceptor, 2. The Sangha as his preceptors (meaning those who have many preceptors), 3. A a group of monks as his preceptors, 4. His preceptor is bisexual, 5. His preceptor was ordained himself, 6. His preceptor believes in other religions, 7. His preceptor is an animal, 8. His preceptor who conducted matricide, 9. His preceptor who conducted patricide, 10. His preceptor who conducted killing an arahant 11. His preceptor who conducted rape of a female monk. 12. His preceptor who caused schism in the Sangha. 13. His preceptor who caused the Buddha to bleed. 14. His preceptor who has two sex organs, 15. The monk who did not have his own alms bowl, 16. The monk who did not have his own robes, 17. The monk who did not have his own bowl and robes, 18. The monk who borrowed other’s bowl, 19. The monk who borrowed other’s robes, 20 The monk who borrowed other’s bowl and robes. Colophon: Folio 24 on the recto side: Sangkat (CS) 1276, a ka pao year, on the ninth day of the waning moon of the second lunar month, the third day of the week (Tuesday), a hwai si day, the writing of this manuscript was accomplished at the time of kòng ngai (between 7.30–9.00 o’clock). The initiator, Sao Pan together with all her parent and children had the religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled [Papphat]sa Khan (Pabbajjā) to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May all our wishes and desires come true. Nibbāna paccayo hontu niccaṃ dhuvaṃ paramaṃ sukhaṃ (May this be a condition for us to reach Nirvanaa, constantly and certainly, the greatest bliss).
