The content tells about Kevatta Sutta. On one occasion, the Buddha was staying in Pavarika’s mango grove in Nalanda. Then Kevatta the householder approached the Buddha and asked the Buddha to direct a monk to display a miracle from his superior human state. The Buddha said, “Kevatta, I don’t teach the monks in this way: come, monks, display a miracle of psychic power to the lay people clad in white”. Later, the Buddha explained the three kinds of miracle including Iddhi-pātihāriya (a wonder of psychic powers), Ᾱdesanā- pātihāriya (marvel of mind-reading, and Anusāsanī-pātihāriya (marvel of teaching). Pho Khampheng and his wife had the religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled Thikhanikai (Digha Nikāya), to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years.
