On one occasion, while residing at the Jetavana monastery, the Buddha spoke to his disciple about a Brahmin. In the city of Savatthi, there was a Brahmin who saw the Buddha and the monks and became faithful. He offered food to the monks and built a pavilion for the monks as well. Later, the Buddha delivered a sermon on the 4 noble truths to that Brahmin. As soon as the sermon was over, the Brahmin attained Sotapana.
