ສັງຮອມທາດ (ຜູກ ໕)

On one occasion, the Buddha was dwelling at the Jetavana monastery in Savatthi. King Sutthatsanachak who ruled Lanka city heard the Buddha delivered a sermon to a deva on the sang hòm that (the integration of the relics), the king along with his servants carried offerings and came to the Buudha’s place. The king paid respect he Buddha and asked the Buddha that if a person who has the religious faith listened to or worshiped the Dhamma scripture named sang hòm that, what rewards does the person gain? Later on, the Buddha gave a sermon to the king and his servants on the sang hòm that in details. Phia Ariyalatsi or Thit In and his wife Sao Uan along with all their children and grandchildren and relatives had the religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled Sang Hòm That (Integration of the Buddha’s relics). May this merit close the doors of the four miseries for us. May all our wishes and desires come true. May we reach the three states of happiness with Nibbāna as the ultimate gaol.
