The content tells Matta ghost's virtues. In the city of Savatthi, there was a rich man, who had a wife named Matta who was barren, childless, had a violent habit, was jealous and stingy, and did not believe in the Triple Gem. Therefore, the rich man took a second wife named Tissa who had good habits and the religious faith in the Buddha’s teachings. Later, Tamsa gave birth to a son named Phutu Kamara and became the master in the house, making Mata jealous. One day, while Tissa was drying her hair, Matta poured ashes on her head. When Mata died, she was born as a naked, ugly, dirty and skinny ghost . Colophon: Folio 12 on the recto side: Chan (ex-monk) Suk is the scribe. This manuscript was copied from the Thai version into Lao language in order to the audients easily understand. Amen, amen! Nibbāna is the greatest bliss.
