Indra who is the greater than all devas in the heavens. He wanted to celebrate the divine great festival. He gave his order to Vishnu to announce to all devas of the two heavens including Catumaharajika and Tavatimsa to gather and celebrate for seven days and seven nights. The festival was joyfully celebrated throughout seven days and nights. Maha Thera Thammanyano (Bunthan) from Vat Mai is the sponsor of the making of this manuscript [entitled] Utsaparot, in order to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May this be a condition for me to reach Nibbāna.
