ສັບພັນຍັກ (ຜູກ ໒)

ສູດພານຍັກ ເນື້ອໃນເປັນພາສາບາລີ ເປັນບົດສູດມົນທີ່ໃຊ້ສູດໃນພິທີສູດພານຍັກ ຊຶ່ງເປັນພິທີກໍາທີ່ເຊື່ອກັນວ່າ ສາມາດກໍາຈັດປັດເປົ່າສິ່ງຊົ່ວຮ້າຍ ແລະປົກປ້ອງຄຸ້ມຄອງຜູ້ສູດແລະຜູ້ສະດັບຮັບຟັງໃຫ້ມີຄວາມຜາສຸກ. ເນື້ອຫາໃນການສູດໄດ້ນໍາເອົາມາຈາກອາຕານາຕິຍະສູດ ກ່າວເຖິງ ທ້າວຈະຕຸໂລກກະບານທັງ ໔ ໄດ້ເຂົ້າເຝົ້າພະພຸດທະອົງ ຂາບທູນໃຫ້ພະພຸດທະອົງຊົງຊາບວ່າ ຫາກສາວົກຂອງພະພຸດທະອົງຍັງບໍາເພັນພຽນຢູ່ໃນປ່າ ອາດຈະຖືກພວກຍັກທີ່ຍັງເປັນມິດສາທິດຖິ ບໍ່ເຫຼື້ອມໃສໃນຄໍາສອນຂອງພະຕະຖາຄົດ ຈັກກໍ່ກວນແລະທໍາອັນຕະລາຍໄດ້ ດ້ວຍເຫດນີ້ ຈຶ່ງທູນໃຫ້ພະພຸດທະອົງຊົງຮຽນພະຄາຖາບົດໜຶ່ງ ເພື່ອໃຫ້ຍັກເຫລົ່ານັ້ນເກີດຄວາມເຫຼື້ອມໃສ ພະພຸດທະອົງຊົງຮັບ ຈາກນັ້ນທ້າວເຫວດສຸວັນ ຈຶ່ງກ່າວຄາຖາອາຕານາຕິຍະສູດນີ້. ຄໍາລົງທ້າຍ: ລານທີ່ ໒໔ ໜ້າ ໑: ຈຸນລະສັງກາດຣາຊະໄດ້ ໑໒໐໐໙ (ກົງກັບ ຈສ. ໑໒໐໙) ຕົວປີເມິ່ງມົດ ເດືອນ ໑໑ ຂຶ້ນ ໔ (ຄໍ່າ) ພໍ່າວ່າໄດ້ວັນ ໔ ມື້ຮ້ວງໃຄ້ ຣິດຈະນາແລ້ວຍາມແຖໃກ້ຄໍ່າ ໝາຍມີ ອົງສົມເດັດບໍຣົມມະເສດຖາບຸດຕີຝ່າຍໜ້າ ກັບທັງພະຣາຊະກັນຍາ ຣາຊະກະນິດຖາ ຣາຊະບຸດຕະນັດຕາ ສຸຫະຊາຍະຕິກາ ກັບທັງພັນທຸວົງສາ ມີສັດທາເປັນອັນຍິ່ງ ຈຶ່ງໄດ້ພ້ອມກັນມີພະຣາຊະສັດທາສ້າງໄວ້ຍັງ ສັບພານຍັກ ໄວ້ໃຫ້ເປັນໂຊຕະກະພະໂຄດົມເຈົ້າ ຕາບຕໍ່ເທົ້າ ໕໐໐໐ ວັດສາ ນິບພານັງ ປະຣະມັງ ສຸກຂັງ ນິດຈັງ ນິດຈັງ ທຸວັງ ທຸວັງ. ສັບພະ ສັດຕານັງ ສັບພະວິສາ ສັບພະຍັກຂາ ເວຣາວິນັດສັນຕິ.

Bhānyak with the whole text written in Pali is the chanting text used in the ceremony so-called of bhānyak which is considered a protective blessing, organized for dispelling evil and protecting chanters and listeners. The content describes in Ātānātiya Sutta. The story is that on one occasion, the Buddha was dwelling on the Vulture’s Peak near Rajagaha. The four heavenly kings came to the presence of the Buddha, saluted the Buddha and said that if the Buddha’s disciples who are practicing meditation in the forests they might be disturbed and harm by their giants (yak) who have false view and are not faithful in the Buddha’s teachings. Hereby, they told the Buddha to learn this stanza in order to make those giants to be faithful. After listening to the Buddha’s teachings. When the Buddha agreed, Vessuvana uttered the stanza of Ātānātiya Sutta. Colophon: Folio 24 on the recto side: Chunlasangkatrasa (CS) 1209, a moeng mot year, the fourth day of the waxing moon of the eleventh lunar month, the fourth day of the week (Wednesday), the writing was accomplished at the time of thae kai kham (between 15.00–16.30 o’clock). Somdet Bòrommasetthabutti who lived in the front golden palace, along with his wife, younger sister, children, friends and relatives jointly had the most ardent religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript [entitled] Sap phanyak, to support the Teachings of Gotama Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. Nibbāna is the greatest bless certainly. Sappha sattānaṃ sapphavisā sapphayakkhā verāvinassanti.
