During the establishment ceremony, two brothers King Suvannaphingkhan of Nonghan Laung city, and King Khamdaeng of Nonghan Noi city set up their wish that “may both of us be ordained and obtained arahantship. May we not being separated from each other. King Chulaniphommathat of Chulani city, King of Inthapattha also set up their wish to be ordained and obtained arahantship. King Nanthasen of Sikhottabun set up his wish to be ordained and obtained arahantship as the fifth. Thereafter Venerable Maha Kassapa and other 500 arahants blessed them and returned Rajagaha for organizing the first Buddhist Council. Colophon: Folio 26 on the recto side: Sangkat 200 and 6 (CS 1203), a huang pao year, the twelfth day of the waxing moon of the seventh lunar month, the third day of the week (Tuesday), a hwai san day, the writing was accomplished at the time of kòng laeng (between 13.30–15.00 o’clock). Phò Ngao and his wife, along with relatives jointly sponsored the making of this manuscript [entitled] Lam urangkathat, to support the Teachings of Gotama Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May this be a condition for us to reach Nibbāna certainly.
