The text tells various kinds of the principles of the Dhamma such as Avijja – ignorance 4, Abhinna – superknowledge 6, Patisambhida – analytic insight 4. The last part tells about the five collections of the Suttan doctrine including 1. Dīghanikāya (collection of long discourses), 2. Majjhimanikāya (collection of middle-length discourses), 3. Samyuttanikāya (collection of connected discourses), 4. Anguttaranikāya (the collection of discourses arranged in accordance with number), and 5. Khutthakanikāya (small collection). Colophon: Folio 24 on the recto side: Sangkat (CS) 1287, a huang pao (hap pao) year, the tenth day of the waning moon of the tenth lunar month, Friday, the writing was accomplished at 2.00 pm. Thu (Princess) Khamtun, the wife of King Sisavang [Vong] the king of Lan Xang Hom Khao is the principal initiator than his children and all relatives, had the religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled 8 mün, in order to prolong the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years.
