Sòng paet mün tells the rewards and the results derived from making the manuscript of the Dhamma of eighty-four thousand and listening to the preacbhings of Dhamma, the Buddha’s teachings which are given by the monks. The five benefits from the listening to the preaching of the Dhamma as following: 1. The listeners would hear what they have never heard before. 2. They will get more clear understanding of what they have ever heard before. 3. Reduce the several of doubts. 4. Get right understanding. 5. The mental of listener will be purified. Colophon: Folio 20 on the recto side: Cunlasakkarat (CS) 1235, a ka hao year, the seventh day of the first lunar month, the fifth day of the week (Thursday), a ka hao day. The writing was accomplished at the time of kòng ngai (between 7.30-9.00 o'clock). Chao (princess) Khamsi Kumari along with her father, her children and all relatives had the ardent religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript [entitled] Pitaka Thang 3, to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May the alms that I have already given be a condition for me to reach Nibbāna which is the greatest bliss.
