This preaching on the Samaggi dhamma (the Dhamma of concord) was delivered on the occasion of the Kathina ceremony by the groups of the Kathina for harmony among Thai and Lao people at Vat Mai Suvannaphumaram and Vat Visoun on 26th October BE 2511 (AD 1968). On the Thai side, there is General Sawai Sawaisaenyakone as head of the Thai group. Sadet Chao (Prince) Khamhing, Ambassador of the kingdom of Laos to the Thai kingdom was head of the Lao group.
