Patimokkha manuscript, the text was written in Pali language is used to learn by heart by monk. The Patimokkha is the basic code of monastic displines, consisting of 227 rules for monks. The Patimokkha recitation by a monk in the assembly of the Sangha is regularly held in the monastic hall on every full moon day and every new moon day which is called uposatha day. Colophon: Folio 48 on the recto side: Chunlasangkatrasa (CS) 1247, a hap hao year, on the fourth day of the week (Wednesday), the fourth day of the waxing moon of the fifth lunar month, a hap khai day, the writing of this manuscript was accomplished at the time of kòng ngai (between 7.30–9.00 o’clock). Mr. Suvan and his wife sponsored the making of this manuscript entitled Patimokkha, fascicle 4, to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years.
