ബൃഹദാരണ്യകോപനിഷദ്ഭാഷ്യവാർത്തികം

A hitherto unknown, extensive copy of Sureśvara's great sub-commentary on Śaṅkara's gloss on the Bṛhadāraṇyakopaniṣad. The numeration, in 8 adhyāyas, differs from that of the editions, but is generally found in the Thrissur manuscripts. Note the presence of an elaborate colophon, with scribal verses (akṣaraṃ yat paribhraṣṭaṃ, etc.), name of the scribe, addressee, invocation to Viṣṇu under different names (Vāsudeva, etc.); no date. The bundle, whose beginning is missing, starts with v. 281 of the Saṃbandhavārttika.

Custodial history: Former ownership is not known.
