ബൃഹദാരണ്യകോപനിഷദ്ഭാഷ്യവാർത്തികം

A hitherto unknown, extensive copy of Sureśvara's great sub-commentary on Śaṅkara's gloss on the Bṛhadāraṇyakopaniṣad. The numeration, in 8 adhyāyas, differs from that of the editions, but is generally found in the Thrissur manuscripts. The manuscript is in a poor state of preservation, and very fragile. The copy is incomplete, with the beginning missing, as well as many leaves in the middle. Divisions identified so far are as follows: 31r2: end of 3.3; 101r, last line: end of 5.2; 118v-119r: end colophon of adhyāya 5 (= adhyāya 3 in the edition), etc.

Custodial history: Formerly belonged to Thekke Madham, Thrissur (uncertain).
